Q: Who benefits? Strut proceeds benefit youth athletic scholarship at the Springfield-Greene County Park Board and Women’s Intersports Network, as well as women’s athletic programs at Drury, Evangel and Missouri State Universities. Q: This is more than your average 5K!! The Bee Payne-Stewart Strut & 5K is a family fitness event that welcomes family members of all ages. The 5K run, will be a timed event, while the 1.5 mile ’strut’ (walk) is not timed. Bring the entire family and show us your STRUT! Q: 5K Race Details Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 8 a.m. Q: Strut/Walk Details The Strut (walk) will begin immediately following the start of the last runner and is a 1.5 mile walk thru downtown Springfield. This is not a closed course. This will not be a timed walk. Event check-in will begin at 7a.m. If you wish to register a team, please mail all registrations together and submit to Bee Payne-Stewart Strut & 5K, 1923 North Weller, Springfield, MO 65803. Q: Prizes Prizes will be awarded for the 5K run in following categories: overall male & female; masters male & female; age division winners, male & female. Weller, Springfield, MO 65803 3. There will be NO race day registration. Q: Registration Fees $10 for children, 12 and under
$15 for Students $25 for Adults Q: Race Packet Pickup Friday, April 26th at Mediacom Ice Park from 12:00—6:00 p.m. Q: Parking Event parking will be available at the Jordan Valley Car Park (fees may apply) as well as numerous surface lots around the area.
Once again, The Strut is partnering with Harmony House to collect donations for women and children in need. Harmony House provides shelter, advocacy and education to women and children who are victims of domestic violence and promotes the principle that all individuals have the right to a life free from abuse. We encourage each participant to donate one or more items. The following is a list of items they need.
