The SENIOR SPORTSWOMAN AWARD will be presented to a local woman, age 50 or older, who demonstrates superior athletic achievement, outstanding leadership qualities, and who encourages participation of girls and women in sports and fitness.
Judging Criteria:
Please address the following judging criteria on a separate sheet of paper and explain how the nominee meets these attributes and why she is deserving of this award.
- Is 50 years of age or over and participates in sports.
- Encourages and motivates people of all ages to participate in sports.
- Demonstrates by example an understanding of the physical and emotional benefits of participation in sports at any age.

How to Nominate a Candidate:
- Complete nomination information below; then click "Submit Application " button.
- Mail a testimonial letter addressing the judging criteria.
- Include 3 letters of recommendation and other supporting material (newspaper clips, brochures, programs, etc.)
- 5 X 7 black and white photo to be used in program.
